season kicks off Monday through Wednesday with the lucrative Sailfish Cup out of Miami Beach Marina. One of the richest tournaments in the southeast, the Sailfish Cup is the first event of the Sailfish Pro Series, which stretches into spring. Organizers expect 43 boats to compete for more than $100,000 in prize money. An awards party will be held Wednesday at Jungle Island hosted by NASCAR president Mike Helton.
