Synopsis
A cold front will stall across the extreme southern local waters today with showers and isolated thunderstorms continuing through Monday, especially over the Atlantic waters. Strong north to northeast winds will result in hazardous marine conditions through at least this evening. The front should move north of the area early Monday and then back south on Tuesday with increasing northerly winds and hazardous marine conditions Tuesday through Thursday.
Gulf Stream Hazards
Surface winds will increase rapidly from the north and northeast. Seas are expected to build to 8 to 10 feet today and remain at or above 7 feet through Monday.
