The fishing has slowed a bit. The Trout are still on the flats around the spoil islands. Best bet is to get out and wade. If you are not used to it the water is a little on the cool side. Just put in an order for waders. Old age is forcing the issue. Still using tubes rigged with a circle hook. Managed 3 slot , 1 over and 7 under slot Trout for the day. The circle hook really works good on Trout. Bonus for the day was a 4 pound Flounder. This was caught on an XRSS-8 X-RAP Albino Shiner. The Lady Fish have moved in and are being a royal pain.
If you are looking at Sebastian for the Fall Flounder run, check the reports every day. Get out if you can, because it is real easy to miss the big run. Right now there are reports of Black Drum being caught at the inlet. As usual by the time many anglers get there, they are gone Bud Karas
