INDIAN RIVER COUNTY
Capt. Gus Brugger of Pattern Setter charters in Sebastian reports on his website's video blog that mid-November fishing has been good for some popular targets and a little slow for others. Trout fishing is steady for smaller fish while ladyfish, bluefish and jacks are bending rods. Brugger said slot-sized snook, flounder and pompano catches are slow for now, but he is optimistic that settled weather will provide better fishing, especially during the incoming tides.
ST. LUCIE COUNTY
Capt. Charlie Conner of Fish Tales guide service out of The Fishing Center of St. Lucie in Fort Pierce reported on his weekly e-mail blast that So far, November has been pretty typical - offering good fishing in between challenging weather conditions. Conner said offshore action has been limited because of the wind. Inshore, there has been good variety on the flats with jacks, pompano, redfish, sheepshead, trout, ladyfish and snook. Try jigs tipped with bait for best results.
